probably spared me nightmares

it's late and i'm tired
but there's always one more thing
to keep me awake

200 and no closer to the goal
working on all the wrong ends
ignoring the things that matter

the time i spend with myself
i enjoy being myself
unafraid of myself

partially translating a movie
is an advantage?
me thinks not.

a reality so made up
you have trouble
to see it yourself

wearing a jacket
i walk through the rain
to buy ice cream

looking at the traffic
i can only shake my head
in bafflement

personal satisfaction
unfulfilled
seemingly out of reach number

incremental changes
are easier
than one big leap
