grasshoppers everywhere;
hopping
not just through grass

from death comes life
sometimes
from death only comes grief

Change for the sake of it:
Once you get used to something,
it's no longer available.

your claws ripping the mattress apart
never knew
i love that sound

all achievements erased
work of a second
act of ignorance

downriver
on a bike
covered with mud

tv lulls our brains
to 100 years of sleep
pity we won't be around to see it wake up

lizards
running around on the rocks
laughing at us

smiling faces
carved in stones
affordable friendliness

my head's a magnet
for all kinds of
flying nuisances
