he didn’t seem funny at all
playing
with his smart phone

now that i have
the car back they
took away the road

some settings make it easy
to imagine myself
in the middle of a spy novel

hunt, run, kill
beats
cycle, wage, repeat

some things never change,
but i must say
i could deal with change

if he is waiting
in the house
he doesn't deserve me

if by chance
he finds a bigger room
i could use one

it’s easy to freeze
to death out here
but it’s only minus 5 celsius

running
to the temple noise
and back again

shaking the car hard enough
will make the ice
fall off, eventually
